Training on “Circular Economy and De-Carbonization of Industry”

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Council “Circular Economy – The Green Alternative for Bulgaria” organizes a series of meetings and trainings to acquaint Bulgarian business with the need to transform economic activities based on innovative green technologies and achieve sustainable development. The main focus of these trainings are: the changes in various aspects of the legislation that Bulgarian business should be familiar with, as well as the opportunities for financing “green projects” from various sources.

On July 9, from 10.30 to 12.30, a training on “The Circular Economy and the De-Carbonization of Industry” will be held. The main focus of the training will be the presentation of the global and European policy for de-carbonization, as well as the specific requirements for Bulgarian companies arising from this policy. The benefits of participating in this training are related to the specific assistance that companies will receive to adapt their mission, vision and company goals to the new European policies. The companies participating in the training will understand how they could prove to all stakeholders in their business that they really have a “green mindset” not only as a declarative statement, but also in practice. During the training, specific examples will be given and practical exercises in this direction will be developed. The lecturer of the training will be Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetla Boneva, Department of International Economic Relations and Business at UNWE, member of the Executive Bureau of the Council at BCCI – “SEGA-BG”.
