Call for Applications for the Selection of Members of the Expert Group on Clusters
12.04.2025The expert group aims to explore how clusters can more effectively contribute to the implementation of EU industrial priorities especially those related to decarbonisation, competitiveness and innovation at regional and local level.
The Expert Group will provide recommendations for future cluster policy actions, in particular in the following areas: innovation; building European and international value chains; investments; contribution to the Clean Industrial Deal; support under the next MFF.
Members shall be: a) competent Member States’ authorities; b) other public entities (such as authorities from non-EU countries, EU bodies, offices or agencies, and international organisations); c) stakeholder organisations experienced in implementing cluster policy at regional and national level; d) experienced practitioners in business development and interregional investment projects representing a common interest different from stakeholder organisations; and e) renowned researchers in the field of clusters, competitiveness, and innovation appointed in their personal capacity, who shall act independently and in the public interest.
